A political pressure group, Deltans Life Matters (DLM), a political pressure group has come after Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State who has been verbally attacking the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The group’s Global Coordinator, Mr Moses Abeh in a statement has called on the PDP to move on and not allow Wike’s recent rants to distract them ahead of the general elections in 2023.
The group cited example with Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, former Governor of Rivers State who lost his presidential ticket bid of the All Progressives Congress (APC) but never went the way Wike is doing.
They urged Wike to tow the footsteps of the former who entered his house quietly after losing his quest for the presidential ticket in the primary election.
According to them, Amaechi did not insult his party leaders and those who are not on the same page with him publicly like Governor Nyesom Wike is doing.
Recall that the former Governor of Rivers State and immediate past Minister of Transport was defeated in the APC presidential primary election by the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
