However, the Court of Appeal restored the candidacy of the speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State.

The ever impactful former leader of Burutu House, Alubeze in a chat with The People’s Voice Ngr, has urged Olorogun David Edevbie and other aggrieved party members to sheathe their swords for the common good of the party come 2023.

“I wish to congratulate Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori occasioned by the Appeal Court verdict that has restored his governorship candidacy of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the Delta State 2023 elections.

“I equally wish to implore the understanding of aggrieved party faithful to collapse structures to win the 2023 general elections in the state.

“The long standing court case since after the emergence of the speaker as governorship candidate in the primary election is tearing the party which is not good for the PDP ahead of the 2023 elections.

“I use this medium to call on all those instigating this rift to desist from the act and work towards achieving victorious result in the forthcoming elections.

“I plead with Olorogun David Edevbie to turn deaf ear to any advice of furthering the case at the supreme court”, he added.
