Pictorial: Izisco Obos Institute Of Maritime Studies Holds Alumni Inaugural Ceremony In Warri



Warri______________The Izisco Obos Institute of Maritime Studies and Technology has inaugurated the chapter’s Alumni Association in the school today.

The school which was established about nine (9) years ago and fully registered with the Federal Government under NIMASSA has kicked the ground rolling for the existence of Alumni Association in the chapter.

The association inaugurated its interim executives to pilot its affairs in the chapter pending when election would be conducted to elect new executives.

Talking moments of the inaugural ceremony was the award of certificates to patrons and matron of the chapter’s Alumni, who are:


Chief Capt. Isaac Oyazi Seide (CEO/President, Izisco Group of Companies) – Grand Patron

Mr. Ebisinne Kofee Amasuomo – Patron and

Mrs. Blessing Endoro – Matron.

Other highlights of the event were the official unveiling of the Alumni Logo which was anchored by Mr. Richard Ebibofa, special guest of honour, a keynote lecture on the topic, “Problems and prospects of the Nigerian Youths in Turbulent Times” by Rev. Charles Araunah JP, Rector of Izisco Obos Institute of Maritime Studies and Technology, and the presentation of awards to deserving students of the institute on excellence.

The patrons and matron, Chief Capt. Isaac Oyazi Seide, Mr. Ebisinne Kofee Amasuomo, and Mrs. Blessing Endoro in advisory remarks urged all members of the association to be focused and committed towards achieving the goal of the union in the school. As a matter of fact, they advised all to be up and doing for the union to strive through in the chapter.


Worthy of note that Izisco Obos Institute Of Maritime Studies and Technology is one of the few maritime schools that is recognized by government. It has graduated an impressive number of students who are doing well in the different areas in the society.

The People’s Voice Ngr can report that the event was enclothed with beautiful moments as the cadets embarked on short but scintillating parade display to entertain all guests.
