The revered monarch of Operemor Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area, Dr. Ekioemi John Oweiagbe, visited the wife of his predecessor, Late King Samuel Evah.
The visit according to Comr. Timipre Ndoni, the Media Director to Dr. Ekioemi John Oweiagbe was born out sincere desire to operate an all-inclusiveness policy in advancing the kingdom to a greater height.
The king said that his reign will always ensure concerted efforts of all sons and daughters to prioritize the growth and development of the kingdom.
He also stated that his reign and vision will equally accommodate the consolidation of the legacies of the late monarch whom he described as “a trailblazer and devotee to the course of traditional leadership with which the kingdom was brought to limelight.”
The young but vibrant ancestral eye of the Operemor Kingdom once again expressed grief and sympathy with the family over the death of a great husband and father whose impacts would be felt forever, he said.
Reacting to the courtesy visit, Queen Eniye Evah expressed excitement and appreciation to the king and his entourage for the honour.
Conversely, she advised that for the kingdom to progress, the king and his chiefs in council should employ the coexistence of love, peace, and unity.
In an inclusive term, she said all should be involved in building the kingdom to an enviable feat.
The People’s Voice Ngr can report that Queen Evah and family gave the newly elected monarch a very warm reception in her Warri residence yesterday.
