PDP Gushes Over Decision Of Wike, Ortom, Others On Purported Imminent Defection

Samuel Ortom, Governor of Benue state has hinted that himself and other aggrieved Governors have met and have agreed to remain in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ortom informed the public when he came on Arise News Tv as a guest today that himself and his aggrieved colleagues, including Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike would not be leaving the PDP.

“We are not going to defect to another party.”

He noted that he met with Wike and Seyi in London where they resolved.

He also noted that Wike, is very upset with the party and Atiku Abubakar’s choice of the Delta State Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa as running mate.

The Benue state governor said the PDP presidential candidate should as a matter of party loyalty and necessity reach out to Governor Wike for absolute reconciliation.

He pressed further to assert that Wike, Rivers State Governor is an impregnable factor needed by the party for victory.

Ortom said that the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku has prevailed on him to intermediate between him (Atiku) and Wike to sit on a round table to harmonize differences.

He also revealed that once the differences between them are ironed out, he would be delighted to bury his own grievances for the sake of PDP.

He added that It is not late to put the PDP house in order.
