Breaking: Another Building Collapses In Lagos, Many Feared Dead

At around 1.07 am Today Wednesday, a building in the Onipanu neighborhood of Lagos State collapsed on Oke Arin Street, off Shyllon Ilupeju.

Reports said this incident occurred just two weeks after a church structure that was under construction in Mushin fell in front of number 17, Cardoso Street, off Martins Street.

Dr. Oluwafemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the permanent secretary of LASEMA, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, acknowledged the Onipanu tragedy.

“The Alpha Cobra team of Lagos State Emergency at Onipanu En route Oke Arin street off shyllon Ilupeju.” He said.

The number of fatalities reported in the most recent occurrence is unclear.
