PDP Presidential flagbearer in the 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, has picked Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as his vice presidential candidate.
He made the choice this morning, Thursday 16 June, 2022 after the National Working Committee of the party presented three shortlisted nominees to him. Those presented to him included Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, and Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom state.
After a critical consideration, Atiku picked Okowa as his choice for a running mate.
