The People’s Democratic Party, PDP has concluded its primaries ahead of the 2023 general elections with emergence of flagbearers at the federal and state levels.
Against the backdrop, Rt. Hon. Joseph Asiaye Alubeze, immediate past leader of Burutu Legislative House in a congratulatory message has felicitated and rejoiced with all the winners at the primaries.
At the presidential level, Atiku Abubakar clinched the ticket to contest in the 2023 presidential election.
In Delta State, the serving speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori won the gubernatorial nomination ticket with amazing margin of delegate votes.
Meanwhile, at the Delta South Senatorial District, Michael Diden aka Ejele grabbed the party’s ticket to fly in 2023.
The PDP’s family of Burutu federal constituency has confirmed bid to return Rt. Hon. Julius Gbabojor Pondi in the general elections after scoring the highest votes to emerge winner at the primaries.
Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta, the current member representing Burutu North Constituency and Chief Pereotubo Oloye are to contest the Burutu North and South seats respectively.
Alubeze, a leader per excellence and a grassroot personality has also called the party leadership to start strategizing to win the general elections.
While advising the party’s leadership, Alubeze said that no stone should remain unturned from the national, state, and local government levels, noting also that the party should make frantic efforts to reconcile grievances and bring together all aggrieved members of the party in oneness and collective synergy to win in 2023.
He also commended all the aspirants for their doggedness. According to him, there’s no victor and vanquish in politics, we are all winners.
In the chat with Thepeoplesvoicengr, Alubeze also pleaded with aspirants at the just concluded primaries to put all behind and forge ahead with the structures for the good of the party in 2023.
