Former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra State has reportedly dumped the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
The 2023 presidential hopeful under the umbrella party has also reportedly pulled out of the race to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Peoples Gazette said, Obi’s withdrawal from the presidential race is premised on fears that he could be humiliated at the forthcoming PDP convention scheduled for this weekend.
Peter Obi, who has been ticked by many as the best candidate to rule Nigeria at this time is exiting the race on the eve of a hotly-contested presidential primary election.
