A group identified as Pondi Grassroots Movement, PGM has once again ticked Rt. Hon. Julius Gbabojor Pondi as the most credible man for the Burutu Federal Constituency.
The PMG under the leadership of Roland Dede has appealed to delegates to give their votes to this young but articulate and fire brand of legislator.
Speaking further with Thepeoplesvoicengr on Tuesday, the group believes that the antecedents of the incumbent Burutu federal representative justify his bid for third term to consolidate on his achievements in the past eight years, viz and viz: bills, motions, and projects to his credit.
The PGM stated: Burutu is experiencing a paradigm shift under Pondi, and as such, it is only fair that the momentum is sustained.
“Pondi is undoubtedly the right man for the Burutu federal top. His track record says it all. He has remained a forceful lawmaker in the house and is worthy of a return.
“Our plea is for all delegates to vote for the right man in the forthcoming PDP primary election, to enable him become the party’s flagbearer ahead of the main elections”, the statement added.
Hon. Julius Gbabojor Pondi is the current serving representative of Burutu Federal Constituency.
Meanwhile, the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for House of Representatives which was slated for May 20, 2022 is again rescheduled for Sunday 22nd May, 2022.
