Breaking: Court Gives Update On Case Seeking Removal Of Ayade As Governor Of Cross River

Justice Taiwo Taiwo had earlier planned the judgment for March 25, 2022.

The Federal High Court in Abuja has given an update on a suit seeking the removal of Prof. Ben Ayade and Ivara Esu from office as Governor and deputy governor of Cross River state respectively for decamping to the All Progressives Congress, APC from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

While giving an update, the court said it has reslated judgement for April 6 in the suit.

This was earlier scheduled the judgment for March 25, 2022 by Justice Taiwo Taiwo.

The suit as marked thus: FHC/ABI/CS/975/2021 was filed by the PDP, with INEC, Ayade, Esu and APC as defendants.
