Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and a presidential aspirant, has revealed reasons he intends to become Nigeria’s next President.
Tinubu said he is running for the presidency in order to secure the future of the next generation.
He made known this known he’s in the presidential race during a consultation meeting with members of Ekiti Traditional Council on Thursdayp in Ado-Ekiti, according to NAN.
The APC National Leader noted that Nigeria is in dear need of a leader who could unite the people.
Tinubu said: “We chose democracy and we must not fail in this task. I’m in this race to renew hope and make the future great for our children.”
He also outlined that the country needs a leader who could tackle insecurity and bring about the desired socio-economic development.
“We have struggled for democracy and today we have democracy but we are not stable yet. By now we should have a good farming system and opportunities to produce for other nations to buy.
“For Nigeria to stand united and develop, we require patience and wisdom. We have to be united, that is the only way we can be great. That was why we formed APC based on principles,” the statement ended.
