Angele Meets Burutu PDP Steering Excos, Wards Excos; Declares Interest To Run For House Of Reps

The new political era is charged ahead of the 2023 general elections as political parties brace up to conduct primaries to select their candidates in the forthcoming elections in line with the guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Against this backdrop, Rt. Hon. Angele Godknows has today met with the Burutu Local Government’s central executives of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and the excos from the 11 wards of the LGA.

At the meeting, the Burutu Council Boss reaffirmed his interest to run for the Burutu federal representation.

Meanwhile, Angele made his intention to contest this office first to his family and ward a few days ago, and repeated thus officially as a political tradition to the party leadership at the LGA level.

However, the aspirant appreciated the leadership for their unquantifiable support towards the growth of the umbrella party in the local government area for years uncountable.

In same vein, Angele promised to continously contribute his quota in making the Africa’s largest party even to reclaim the federal mandate (presidency) of the party.

He bidded for support from the assemblage of delegates to give him their vote during the party’s primaries to emerge the flagbearer.

Furthermore, he said that his social characteristics have not changed even as a chairman, giving him their collective sovereignty to represent them in the green chambers will bring him more to the constituents.

Reacting to the political request, some delegates lauded him as a grassrooted politician who exists among his people and doing his bits to make Burutu a happy people always.

Commending him also for the achievements of his first and second administrations, they encouraged him to keep delivering on his electioneering campaign promises.

The warmth reception for Rt. Hon. Godknows Angele also kissed the smiles of prayers from delegates.
