Demebide Congratulates Kalanama VIII On His Inauguration As 1st Vice Chairman Of Delta State Council Of Traditional Rulers

Anthony Miens Demebide, a Niger Delta activist cum entertainer who goes by the stage name Akpolokpolo, De Creek MC has felicitated with His Royal Majesty, Pere Stanley Luke Kalanama VIII, the Pere of Akugbene-Mein Kingdom on the occasion of his inauguration as 1st Vice Chairman, Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers.

The Executive Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa administered the Oath of Office to the reconstituted Council of Traditional Rulers led by His Royal Majesty, Felix Mujakperuo, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom as chairman today in the state capital, Asaba after dissolving the Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor 11, the Obi of Owa – led Council of Traditional Rulers on January 21, 2022 which was sequel to the expiration of tenure.

Demebide who in a phone conversation with Thepeoplesvoicengr stated that the traditional leader of Akugbene-Mein Kingdom is a royal beacon of an ideal society and development, therefore deserves this appointment and successful inauguration as 1st Vice Chairman and that his exploits are worth emulating.

Speaking further, he described Kalanama VIII as a people-oriented monarch, an enigma of moral light with the vision tailored towards building a formidable kingdom and society by bettering the lots under his watch.

Akpolokpolo also believes that the shoulders decorated with this respected feather is only an addition to the ranks of this revered king of Ijaw nation which will bring about more of his commitment in service to the subjects.

“I trust Pere Stanley Luke. He has stack knowledge and capabilities, and with this elevated appointment he will collectively move the state council of traditional rulers to an enviable height.
