Burutu 2023: Angele Indicates Interest To Contest Burutu Federal House Of Reps

The Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Godknows Angele who is on his second run as the council boss has indicated interest to contest in the forthcoming House of Representatives elections.

Angele said he is fully prepared to contest for the Burutu federal top leguslative job as he took consultation to his family and ward leadership.

He said in his speech during the consultation meeting with his ward leaders and elders:

“Haven consulted keenly with my family and the good people of Torugbene ward 1 of which I belong to and after seeking the face of God almighty, I, Rt. Hon. Godknows Angele have decided to run for the House of Representatives, Burutu Federal Constituency under my great party the PDP come 2023.

“My decision is based on the need for the Burutu people to have a Federal lawmaker that is in touch with their needs and demands and also for the sake of ‘EQUITY’.

“With this announcement to run for the federal seat, I urge every one of my supporters to respect every other aspirant(s) and restrain from using heavy words that will stir the polity.

“My belief and trust is firmly on God who gives power ~ Zachariah 4:7. And to his glory, the “DIVINE UPLIFTMENT ’23” mandate shall come into actualisation.

“I want to use this medium to thank the very good people of Burutu Local Govt Area who found me worthy and voted me twice to serve as their area council chairman.

“I also thank the greatest political party in Africa, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and my very own Torugbene ward 1 for their unfledged support thus far”, he added.

Godknows Angele aka Ability General also received blessings from leaders and elders during the meeting.
