A-one-storey building has said to have collapsed. The building was said to be owned by Salvation Ministries, situated along Okpanam road in Asaba, the Delta State Capital.
According to the source, the original design of the building was tempered with, caved in during church service, thereby trapping the worshipers, particularly the children section.
It was also revealed that a reconstruction work was ongoing with recourse to the original strength of the foundation of the structure.
As at the time of this report, number of casualties could not be ascertained.
