UniBen Convocates; Ayakoromo Town Rejoices As Joseph Emerges Best Graduating Student Of His Department, Wins More Honours

Education is the bedrock of societal growth and the key with which the development of any society is unlocked.

Kosin Temeoweiagonami Joseph who was a student of University of Benin, Benin City hails from Ayakoromo Town in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

University of Benin, Benin City on Thursday November 25, graduated more than 16,000 students in the 46th and 47th combined convocation ceremony held in the school auditorium.

Today, the hardwork and seriousness to study has paid handsomely for Joseph who emerged the best graduating student of his department, Geography & Regional Planning in University of Benin, Benin City (2020 session) with a 4.11 CGPA.

Joseph not only topped his class but also added to his excellent academic feat two laurels as winner of the:

  • Professor Oyegun’s Memorial Prize for the best graduating student in the department of Geography and Regional Planning
  • Mr. Abadua’s Memorial Prize for the best graduating student in the department of Geography and Regional Planning.

Joseph’s brilliant academic journey began from College of Education, Warri.

Before proceeding to the University of Benin, he was a student of College of Education, Warri, and he topped his department, Geography & Economics as the best graduating student of the 2012 session.
