Rt. Hon. Governor Stanley Warenanawei, Deputy Leader of Warri Southwest Legislative Arm and councillor representing Adu Ward has congratulated members of his ward on a trio celebration of a New Month, Nigeria Independence Day, and the 24th Warri South West creation anniversary.

Warenanawei stated that he’s using this medium to intimate the good people of Warri Southwest LGA today the LGA is 24 years old.

Stanley has also used this means to preach peace and unity in Nigeria, and encouraged the Federal Government to invest more in security in the country.

In his words “No country can grow or develop void of security, peace and justice.

“Today, we are celebrating Nigeria at 61 from 1st October, 1960 when we gained independence from the colonial masters but so sad that many Nigerian families are in one pain or the other because the government of the day has failed especially in the area of security, no more sanctity of life, he added.

The Nigerian state is now vulnerable to the ever growing brunts of insecurity, banditry, clashes of cult groups, ritualism, kidnapping, herdsmen/farmers crisis, rape, to mention but a few.
