Following the death and burial of King Dr. Samylo James Owobiri, the Founder and Leader of Christian United Church of Zion, plans have been finalized to inaugurate a new leader to take up the mantle from the late spiritual shepherd.
The founder and leader of the above named church passed on to eternal glory on August 6, 2021, and was buried on August 14, 2021 respectively.
The vacuum left by the departed spiritual director must be filled in line with the church’s biblical ordinances by ordaining a faithful and committed member to pilot the Godly affairs of the ministry.
It’s in the above light that the church would be inaugurating a unanimously chosen member on Thursday September 23, 2021 at the Israello Zion, headquarters of the Christian United Church of Zion, Ekeremor LGA, Bayelsa State.
Meanwhile, the new leader of the church shall be crowned to bear the title, ‘King Dr. Samylo 11, Thunder 24Hrs.’ Also, the symbol of authority (Staff and Ark) shall be handed over to the New King of the church.
