It was an exciting moment in Ngbilebiri Primary School, Ayakoromo when one of its industrious sons built and donated a modern toilet system to the school.
Mr. Highcoast Ombe, a proud son of Ayakoromo Town in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria, a business mogul has built a latrine for the pupils and staff of the first primary school in Ayakoromo Town.
The pupils until this moment had to ease themselves in an open system or at the waterfront close to the school, a very big threat to them which had resulted in either pupils falling into the river or being injured in the process.
But with this gift from Mr. Highcoast Ombe, the open toilet system of pupils and staff of the school has come to an end.
Speaking at the mini-handover ceremony, Mr. Akpos Romeo Dauyebo who represented the donor beseeched the school management, staff, and pupils to put the toilet into good use, promising that other good things are coming to schools in the community by God’s grace.
“Today, on behalf of the donor, Mr. Highcoast Ombe, I handover this toilet to the school headmistress, Mrs. Shell Vivian Akeme through the community leadership, Mr. Moses Miekoromo.
“It is built to help curtail the open defecation system of the school by a nonpartisan as part of efforts in community development by the donor.
“As an entity bonded in love for our community, we can collectively do the little we can while we await government to do the needful”, he added.
Thepeoplesvoicengr can report that it was a remarkable day in the history of Ayakoromo community. As a matter of fact, Highcoast has graciously engraved his name in the league of others to continually develop the community in areas he can.
While responding, the school management thanked and appreciated the donor for this kind gesture to ameliorate suffering and the open defecation system. The management pressed further in prayers for Mr. Highcoast Ombe to bless him in all areas of life endeavors.
The handover ceremony had in attendance the presence of Mr. Moses Miekoromo (Ayakoromo Community Chairman), Mr. Enekorogha Kokomokeme (Former Speaker, Ayakoromo community), Comrade Ambrose John Yerindideke (ATECO Chairman), Romeo Dauyebo (PA to Mr Ombe), Mrs. Akeme Shell Vivian Akeme (Headmistress, Ngbilebiri Primary School, Ayakoromo), Mrs Theresa Seigha, Mr. Franklin Bouy, Mr. Newyear Jos, Mr. Ebiarede Dauyebo (Site Engineer), Akpoabowei Wurusibe and a host of others.
May God bless him more and more in Jesus name, Amen!
