When death strikes irrespective of age, it invokes sorrow and uproar of mourning to the bereaved family and friends but to the believers of Christ Jesus, death is not the finality of one’s existence. It’s just the extinction from the earthly life while it continues thereafter in heaven.
Until her death, Late Mrs. Oruberi Theodora Brialade, Nee Tuedon was a devoted christian in the catholic faith through which she brought many to know God, and stood as God’s mother to many in baptism and marriage.
The late septuagenarian was a pleasing soul in her practicing christian faith whose sad event took place on Friday August 20, 2021 after a brief illness.
Moreover, while many will remember Mama’s impact in the things of God, several others will remember her social and communal life with the people she left to mourn her relatively early departure.
No amount of words can bring back the dead but what matters is the courage for those she left behind with such memory to live on just like the words of these great philosophers.
“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.”@Irish Proverb
“The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living.”@Marcus Tullius Cicero
“Death is not extinguishing the light. It is putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.”@Rabindranath Tagore
“Lives are like rivers: Eventually they go where they must. Not where we want them to.”@Richard Russo.
With the above philosophical words, Thepeoplesvoicengr wishes to sympathize with the bereaved family and pray God to give Mama’s children and all she left behind the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
Farewell, Mummy Oruberi!
