Just days after the death and burial of the seven wedding guests who were returning from Agbor to their community, Bomadi in Delta State, the death and burial date of Ayakorom two young men has been announced by their family.
The drindling economy and lack of government or company employment has made many youths to be self-employed or engage in other livelihoods to put food on their table.
Thepeoplesvoicengr can report that these noble young men in search for greener pastures, went to a part of Imo State to hustle to make ends meet with their immediate families.
The deceased are from an extended family, and according to them (family), it was a bad time for them when they were seriously engulfed in a fire incident. These young men lost their lives untimely after a few days of this unfortunate incident.
“The family of Azibor of Akubiri Quarters, Ayakoromo, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State announces the sorrowful death of two beloved sons whose sad event took place on the 26th July, 2021 in a fire incident in Imo State.”
Another statement by the chairman of Ayakoromo Town Transition Committee (ATECO) confirmed the incident;
“These noble youths of Ayakoromo Community due to the economic meltdown in the country went to part of Imo State for their bread but unfortunately caught up in a fire accident and died untimely”, he added.
Mr. Azikiwe Erekedoumene who made the announcement on behalf the family said, the remains of these young men: Ayafou Peremobowei, and Dauyougha Michael Ereke, aging 32 and 30 respectively shall be committed to mother earth on Tuesday 31st August, 2021.
