In recent times, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has been faced with internal crises with move to suspend the party’s national leadership.
There has been calls from groups and individuals for the resignation of Uche Secondus as National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
This came after governors, legislators at both the national and state levels defected to the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, APC.
On Monday, a High Court sitting in Degema, Rivers State granted Exparte order, restraining Uche Secondus from parading himself as PDP National Chairman.
The order further included the suspension of Secondus as member of the PDP pending hearing and determination of motion on notice on interlocutory injunction.
The order was given by Justice .O. Gbasam, a vacation judge.
