Rt. Hon. Julius Gbabojor Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives has renovated and handed over a six-classroom block to Hon. Felix Okporu, the Amananaowei of Ojobo town in Burutu Local Government Area.
The young and vibrant reps member is committed to the developmental course of his federal constuency hence he has been delivering on both human capital and infrastructural developments.
Pondi is also an enthusiast in the education of his people. Just a few months ago, the House of Reps member established a jamb center in Burutu LGA, thereby creating an easy access to those seeking admission into higher institutions. The maiden edition of JAMB registration at the center skyrocketed into thousands of JAMB-takers. He has made different moves in motions and bills to also establishing schools of higher learning in the LGA.
Thepeoplesvoicengr can report that the Burutu Federal Representative handed over the six-classroom block last week Friday when he visited the community for a social function. It worths mentioning that the six-classroom block was influenced and facilitated by the honourable member to Zoukumor Primary School, Ojobo.

“This past Friday I was at the oil-rich Ojobo community for the funeral ceremony of His Royal Majesty, Capt Samuel Evah (Rtd), the Pere of Operemor kingdom.
“Until his death, the late Capt Samuel Evah was the king of Operemor kingdom and actively contributed to the peace, wellbeing and development of Operemor kingdom, Burutu Federal Constituency, the Niger Delta and Nigeria as a whole.
“As a royal father, Capt Samuel was a father to all, peacemaker and actively advocated for the development of the Niger Delta using his position as a king. While we will miss His Majesty’s fatherly counsel, we are encouraged by the exemplary life he led when he was alive.
“I also seized the opportunity of the visit to hand over a newly renovated block of 6 classrooms I influenced and facilitated to Zoukumor primary school, Ojobo to the leadership of Ojobo community as part of my continuous contribution to education in Burutu Federal Constituency.
“In handing over the block of classrooms to Hon. Felix Okporu, the Amananaowei of Ojobo Town (His Highness), who received them on behalf of the community I encouraged the leadership of the community and management of the school to maintain and put the facility to the indexed use, urging all stakeholders to keep the flag of the community flying higher as Ojobo is one of the highest producers of graduates in different disciplines in Burutu Federal Constituency”, he added.
