Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the Governor of Delta State on Tuesday, July 29, 2021 sworn in eleven (11) more commissioners into the Delta State Executive Council, bringing the tally to 29.
As part of his efforts to ensure all inclusivity in his administration, Okowa has created additional 3 ministries to accommodate more commissioners.
The governor has earlier on today assigned ministries to the newly inaugurated commissioners, empowering them to now formally function with portfolios.
The following are the names of the 29 Commissioners of Delta State with their portfolios:
1. Barr Kate Onianwa – lands and survey
2. Okenmor Fidelis Tilije – finance
3. Rose Ezewu – Basic and Secondary Education
4. Churchil Amagada – Trade and Investment
5. Aniagwu charles – Information
6. Evelyn Omavowan Oboro – Water Resources
7. Noel – Works ( highway & urban roads
8. Ifeanyi Egwunyenga – Youths
9. Festus Ochonohor – Housing
10. Barry Gbe – Economic Planning
11. Flora Alatan – Women Affairs
12. Julius Egbedi – Agriculture
