Sologha Ekpemupolo JAMB Center: Akpofe Lauds Pondi, Encourages Leaders To Fulfill Promises

Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi is the Burutu Federal Representative, the youngest federal legislator who is currently on two years run in his second term in the House of Representatives.

Pondi is a people-oriented lawmaker, and has been a consistent voice in plenary sessions for his people.

Recently, Hon. Julius Pondi established an ICT-CBT Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations Center in Ogulagha town in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State for easy access to education.

In the above light, Prince Engr. Ezon-ebi Ernest Angodideke who is fondly known as Akpofe has commended the federal lawmaker for the fantastic step to higher education for constituents.

Angodideke heaped praises on the articulate leader for bringing education closer to his constituents.

Ernest noted that the Izon-speaking people are the most disadvantageous on the ground that they are situated in the riverine areas.

According to Akpofe; “Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi is better told in his people-oriented policies and commitment to the federal course for the good of Burutu Federal Constituency.

Due to how our places are, we have to travel seas to write the JAMB examinations in our pursuance for higher education after secondary education in far away lands, but what Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi has done today is exemplary.

I really wish to appreciate him for this hallmark of his representation, which will be remembered by history.

In another part, the statement reads;

“Now that we have CBT center for the JAMB examinations in Burutu LGA, other leaders in other local government areas should brace up for same.”

Our leaders should as well synergise to influence tertiary institutions to our areas so that students would not have to go through energy-consuming process to pursue admission for higher education.”

Engr. Ezon-ebi further said, “Considering the present Nigeria’s security situation, we need tertiary schools in areas closer to avoid unwarranted mayhem on our children”, the statement concluded.

The Sologha Ekpemupolo JAMB Center officially tookoff with the 2021 edition of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board examinations with very high number of students registering for the test in the center.
