Civil Society Organizations Protest In Osun State Over Insecurity Across Nigeria

The streets of Osogbo in Osun State are covered with protesters matching round against the growing security challenges and misnomer of governance in the country.

The civil society organizations carried out the protest to create awareness and equally sensitize Osun state residents to raise voice against injustice and bad governance as stated by Comrade Waheed Lawal, the convener of the protest.

Beginning the protest match, the protesters took off from the popular Freedom Park at Old Garrage, and walked through station road. In the process, they spoke to sellers along the road on the need for collective advocacy to make Nigeria a better place void of the precarious challenges presently rocking the country.

Comrade Waheed Saka who at the Fagbewesa junction decried bad leadership, noting that the country despite its human and natural resources is in a very bad shape and untold sufferings of its citizens.
