Breaking News: PDP Quakes As It Losses One Of Its Powerful Governors To APC

Professor Ben Ayade, Governor of Cross River state has just defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ayade made the shocking announcement on Thursday morning, 20th May, 2021 when some APC governors visited him in the State Government House.

Before his defection to the ruling party, Prof. Ben was having rancour with the Peoples Democratic Party in the zone for quite some time. Many political enthusiasts reacted that his decamp is not surprising to them because his recent body language.

Ayade has become the only APC governor in the South South political zone of Nigeria. Edo state was the only APC state but Godwin Obaseki’s defection made the region a PDP region fully.

Meanwhile, there are two APC governors in the East which include Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state and Hope Uzodinma of Imo state.
