The 2020/2021 Emirate FA Cup ended tonight as Chelsea and Leicester City went to Wembly in front of an encouraging number of 21,000 spectators since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Leicester Football Club after 137 years won the final with a sensational goal from Youri Tielemans that threw Chelsea fans into tears at the 63rd minute.
According to Leicester’s manager, Brendan Roger’s, “It’s amazing feeling. I wasn’t aware before I came to Leicester that they hadn’t won the FA Cup”.
More dramatically to Chelsea’s heartbreak was VAR’s decision, disallowing Chilwell’s stoppage time goal as the Chelsea player was just offside.
