Ogbe-Ijoh_______The Delta state local governments elections have come and gone with the successful swearing-in of all the chairmen and councillors of most local government areas. The legislative arms of most local governments have taken new shape as principal officers are elected to take charge of legislative affairs of Warri Southwest LGA immediately after the swearing-in of the councillors at the local government secretariat, Ogbe-Ijoh.

It’s to the above regard that the Warri Southwest Legislative Tier elected its officers as Amb. Hon. Governor Stanley Warenanawei emerged Deputy Leader of the House.
The Deputy Leadership office was contested by two honourable members of the house but the Adu ward representative, Hon. Governor Stanley Warenanawei won this principal seat in the house haven scored 14 votes against his opponent who scored 6.

Meanwhile, the new second in command of the newly instituted legislative house expressed joy and appreciation to all that supported his emergence as Deputy Leader of the Legislative Arm, but first God Almighty and the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jeddo branch, and Pastor Emmanuel, not forgetting of course the LGA political leaders in the ranks of Chief Hon. Frank Omare the Kpuruku Master, Double Chief Tunde Smooth, Mr Francis Oyimi, Evangelist Sylvester Oromoni, Chief Favour Izoukumor, Chief Boro Opudu, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Hon. George Ekpemupolo.
Others who deserve this appreciation include: Pst. Arex Akemetubo, Hon. Frank Pukon, Hon. , Hon. Daniel Mayuku, Chief David Tonwei, Pst Preye Koremene, Mr Johnbull Edema, Hon.
