It has become an academic tradition of graduating students to always and officially sign out, commonly seen in the formal tertiary education tier.
This culture is properly imbibed and organized that graduating students always look astonishing beautiful in their chosen costumes, ranging from Ankara, Pull-Overs, Jackets, White T-Shirts, Jerseys, and others according to the number of courses offered in the final semester.
It was a beautiful moment to behold as a young satchet water seller joyously signed out a fresh graduand on his white polo top.
While signing on the white shirt, the young boy offered brief but powerful prayers for the fresh graduate as he knelt before the boy, which reads;
“As I sign on your shirt to mark your official graduation from this school today, people will sign my shirt someday, may no problem of one sort or the other bring you back for extension, jobs will look for you, and your children will not hawk to feed the family in Jesus Name, Amen”.
The prayer points offered above are thoughts and tears-provoking, considering the unfairness of the Nigerian state to millions of unemployed graduates out there but with our fervent prayers and faith in God, things will turnaround for all Nigerians.
