Comrade Austin Ozobo, Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Political Matters led a powerful entourage to pay a thank you visit to the Executive Director, Processing, Research and Statistics of DESOPADEC at his guest house in the early hours of Friday 12th March, 2021.
As a matter of fact, Ozobo said the thank you visit was imperatively pertinent because Amb. Dr. Shedrack Agediga has impacted his life so much. In the SA’s address, the comrades-oriented leader was said to be a rare Ijaw brand of leadership poised to better the lots around him, and as a result testimonies of his unprecedented positive touch by those that have crossed paths with him greet the media space oftenly.
Speaking further, the IPDI president described the DESOPADEC Executive as an exemplary and rare leader in Burutu LGA and the entire Ijaw nation. “He has contributed to the development of a lot of us, most especially my status today even when I had lost hope of sustainability, he comes forth to always assist. My today is incomplete without mentioning his name”, Ozobo added.
While responding, Comrade (Dr.) Shedrack Agediga expressed satisfaction at the cultured act of gratitude by the SA Political. He advised Nigerian youths, youths of Burutu LGA mostly to have vision, focus, imbibe good societal norms, and stand tall to build their tomorrow from today. He offered words of advice graciously wrapped with wisdom.
According to him, if one is appreciated for the little contribution to society, then it means to do more just like the saying, “Appreciation is an Application for more”. If all of us in one exonerated position or the other can contribute our quotas to engage in human capital development, youth restiveness, unemployment, insecurity, and cyber- criminality will be things of the past.
However, other speakers at the visit also extended appreciation to the people’s leader for always extending hands of fellowship to youths and elders alike, responding swiftly to distress calls and otherwise, prayed God to expand his bowels of wealth to do more and above all, God’s protection of his life and family.
