Delta LGs Polls: SUG, Delsu In Affiliation With COEWA Congratulates Tidi, Ramson On Their Victory And Successful Swearing In, Appreciates Okowa Also

The Students Union Government of Delta State University in affiliation with College of Education, Warri has felicitated with Hon. Michael Tidi, and Hon. Ramson Onoyake as Chairmen of Warri South and Uvwie LGAs respectively on their landmark victories and successful swearing-in a few days ago at the state capital, Asaba.

The union also appreciated the Executive Governor of Delta State for his good mentorship.

The decision to congratulate the pair according to the students union leadership, Comrade Sikiru Moses Omasheyindemi was borne out of conscious acknowledgement of their outstanding antecedents and recording-breaking legacies which lured the massive support of the electorates garnered in the March 6 Local Governments polls.

In a statement duly signed by the SUG leadership which was sent to Thepeoplesvoicengr in Warri, Comrade Omasheyindemi and his executives noted that Tidi is a young, energetic, learned, and eloquent youth of our time who has distinguished himself with the desire to make positive difference in leadership. This is not illusive, that his past three years in office is a testimonial of empowerment, development and employment cutting across the nooks and crannies of the Warri South LGA. Indeed, he has written name on marble whose records would be favoured in judgement.

Moreover, Comrade Siriku further hinted on Hon. Ramson Onoyake, chairman of Uvwie LGA, whose return became imperative for the people of Uvwie to continue his good deeds and achievements in his first term. Siriku extolled Ramson’s good virtues as a first-timer but yet he achieved so much for the people hence the unfading love and support from leaders and PDP faithful across the LGA.

As a matter of fact, the student body of Delta State University affiliated with COEWA situated in both LGAs is wrapped in utmost joy to see this great pair elected and sworn-in to take charge of the LGA’s affairs for the repeated time.

Meanwhile, the leadership reiterated and pleaded with these performing chairmen to look into the school and contribute infrastructurally and in other areas. The school is indispensable in building an ideal society.

The Moses-led new student government prayed God to endow the chairmen with grace, wisdom and enablement for successful leadership in their second run in the LG administrative transactions, the statement ended with cheers of congratulations.

    This is a Commendable effort from the SUG, DELSU in affiliation with COEWA, Warri.
    It’s a good platform for setting leadership scores and getting yourselves acquainted with the ‘Outside school Leadership’ race.

    I say a very Big Congratulations to both HON. MICHAEL EJUEYITSI TIDI, emerging W.S.L.G chairman and HON. RAMSON ONOYAKE, emerging Uvwie L.G as returning officers.

    Praying for God to give you the strength and wisdom to pilot the affairs of both Local government.
