The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP of Burutu Local Government Area has officially raised the curtains to the campaigns ahead of the March 6th Local Governments elections of Delta state.
It was like a crusade at the council’s headquarters today as the People’s Democratic Party converged to hand over the party’s symbol to its councillorship candidates of the forthcoming elections.Mr. Ebike Oromoni by virtue of his office as the PDP chairman of Burutu LGA in line with the party’s constitution handed the candidates the flag to fly the party into victory across the LGA.In the symbolic ceremony, the party’s first man charged the chairmanship and councillorship candidates to be steadfast and be of good courage, imbibing all directives geared towards collectivity and to massively comb home the honour of victory.Mr. Ayabotu Otoro, the PDP’s councillorship candidate of Ayakoromo ward with utmost joy appreciated the leaders, the party’s faithful and even those who are not members of PDP but have massively thrown their weight behind him for the elections.
A long dream in bright and assuring mirror of victory, Ayabotu has once again commended the party’s leadership at the ward level for the smooth primaries that made him the flagbearer.
