Burutu LGA Campaigns Flagoff: Angele Prioritises Security, Health, Human Capital Development If Returned As Asupa, Pullah, Takeme And Others Loud Support



The March 6th slated Delta State local governments elections cut days as political parties brace up preparations.As regards the above, Hon. Godknows Angele, the chairmanship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party is on the bid for second term.The immediate past Angele-led administration as chairman of Burutu Local Government Area was massively greeted with satisfaction by the electorate across the council area in the delivery of infrastructural developments and otherwise. The former council boss is an achiever. His first term as chairman was decorated with appraisal of notable achievements which has made the umbrella party to return him against the jinx of single tenureship. He had so many laurels of award as the most performing local government chairman.Angele promised in his speech to do more than his first term legacies if returned as chairman for the repeated time. “I did my best with my cabinet in the areas of infrastructure, prompt salary payment, and in other spheres. I solicit the usual support, and if voted for the repeated time, I shall direct my attention to security, health, and human capital development”, he added.Furthermore, Angele noted that the above areas are very key for any successive government, promised to keenly focus on them to consolidate their importance to the local government.Counted presented at the symbolic ceremony were Political heavyweights inclusive of Hon. Asupa Forteta and Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin, members representing Burutu North and South Constituencies at the Delta State House of Assembly respectively.Others at the party flagoff were Mr. Ebike Oromoni, PDP Chairman, Burutu LGA Chief Julius Takeme, PDP Chairman of Delta South Senatorial District, Paul Kurugbe, etc. They all brewed support; preached unity and synergy to achieve the goal of victory at the end.
