The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP of Warri Southwest Local Government Area has officially kick-started their campaigns ahead of the Delta State Local Governments’ elections stipulated to hold early next month.

At the council’s headquarters of Ogbe-Ijoh, the chairman of the party at the local government level, Chief Hon. Favour Izoukumo and its members converged in line with the party’s directives, and the flaggoff was officially done.

In the flagoff ceremony, the party’s first man handed the chairmanship and councillorship candidates the party’s flag. The councillorship candidates from all wards across the local government for the March 6 LGs polls are charged to fly the flag in victory.

Amb. Stanley Warenanawei Governor, the PDP’s councillorship candidate of Adu ward appreciated the leaders, the party’s faithful and even those who are not members of PDP but massively throw their weight behind him for the elections.
