The 2020 #EndSARS protest is yet to be erased from the minds of Nigerians. The protest was a total mess. It cost the country and her citizenry a lot of sad and tragic consequences.

However, earlier this week, there were instigations for another protest at the Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos, which rumoured widely on the social media. Saturday 13th February, 2020 is purportedly stipulated for the protest.

Moreover, the October 20, 2020 toll gate protest was a major negative impact, and for the second intended protest, the Lagos State Police Command has sent its men on sentry today to repel the planned protest.

Meanwhile, the Lekki Concession Company (LCC) has pleaded with Nigerians planning to stage another protest at the Toll Gate to refrain from such decision considering the enormous damages during the first protest.

According to reports, the rumoured decision to stage this protest was at the wake of the Judicial Panel of Inquiry into the first protest handing over the toll gate back to the Lekki Concession Company.

In the above light, the Federal Government has earlier forewarned intending protesters to steer clear the decision, and as well charged the Lagos State Government to avert it.
