On the early hours of Thursday 28th January, 2021, the death of Late Pa Arthur Okorie Okowa, the father of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa was announced.
In the light of the above, Hon. Ebisinne Kofee Amasuomo, SSA to the Executive Governor of Delta state on Investment has sent words to commiserate with his boss over the irreversible incident.
Amasuomo, bemourns the death of the governor’s father. He also sympathised with the state government and the bereaved family.
In a statement sent to Thepeoplesvoicengr in Warri, the grassroot political leader consoles with the number one Deltan and his family over the irreparable loss. He prays for the soul of the deceased to rest in peace.
The statement reads, “We’ve lost a great leader today in the person of Pa Arthur Okorie Uzoma Okowa, a vacuum that cannot be covered because he was a rare leader with many good sides. I’m therefore using this medium to sympathise with my boss, the executive governor of Delta State, family members and Chiefs-in-Council in Agbor Kingdom. I pray for the repose of daddy’s soul”, he rounded off.
Pa Arthur Okowa died at the age of 88.
