Internet Fraud: EFCC Nabs 3 Dubai-Based Suspected Internet Fraudsters, 14 Others In Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Office has arrested seventeen suspected internet fraudsters, inclusive of three Dubai-based internet criminals in Lagos.

Series of intelligent detailing of their involvement led to the arrest on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th of January, 2021 respectively. They were nabbed from different locations in relation to alleged internet frauds.

The Dubai-based suspects include: Olayinka, Afeez Fajumobi, and Olamide Olamilekan Olaofe, and nabbed alongside were their accomplices, enlisted as Amao Oluwatobi, Amao Joshua, Adeyemo Olatunde, Solomon Emelike, Lawrence Nwodu, and Philip Olamilekan. They were arrested at Victory Nest Estate, Lekki in Lagos on Wednesday 27th January, 2021.

The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in furthered efforts arrested others on Tuesday 26th January, 2021 at 41c, Muritala Eletu Osapa London, Lekki area of Lagos. They are: Ogbenusi Ibrahim, Kelechi Collins Ndubuka, Sadiq Adewale, John Okafor Eze, Adewale Lateef, Hassan Mohammed, Tunde Lawal, and Hussaini Adebayo.

According to the EFCC, all the suspects will be arraigned in the law court as soon as investigations are done.
