Gruesome Murder of Former NUIS President; Okowa’s SA, Ozobo Condemns Act

Tuomo community thrown into mourning over the gruesome murder of their son, brother and friend.

The former president of the National Union of Izon-Ebe Students, Worldwide, Comrade Douye was horrifically killed by unidentified gunmen on Tuesday 26th January, 2021. Reasons that sparked this unfortunate and devilish act is unknown.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters cum Senior Activist, Austin Ozobo expressed shock over the unfortunate incident. He therefore consoles the bereaved family, the Delta State Ijaw comrade family, and the National Union of Ezon-Ibe Students, Worldwide.

The senior activist, described the deceased, Comrade Douye Seifere Saviour who hails from Tuomo town in Burutu LGA as a proud son of Ijaw Nation and that Douye’s death is an irreparable loss to Ijaw Nation.

However, Austin Ozobo believes that the murderers of Comrade Douye will not go scut-free. He consequently calls on the Delta State Police Command and all other related security agencies to swing into action in order to bring to book the culprits.

The Special Assistant to Governor prays for the bereaved family and friends for God’s fortitude to bear this irreversible and unfortunate incident.
