Burutu Local Government Youths for Good Governance (BLGYGG) has called leaders of Burutu LGA to eschew their political differences and factionalism for the general interest of unity for the development of the council area. The need to have a united front to tackle Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to complete ongoing projects and awarding fresh ones in the local government area cannot be overstated.

Our leaders in the local government area need to work in unity and put the interest of the generality of the LGA by luring Governor Okowa to ensure all projects are speedily completed.

BLGYGG believes our leaders not speaking in one voice is one biggest impediment, detrimental to the LGA’s developmental. According to the movement, the lack of beffiting infrastructures in Delta State School of Marine Technology’s permanent site where adequate learning resources ought to have been provided for students remains a shadow of itself since the establishment.

Another concern is the Ayakoromo bridge project which is a concrete reason our leaders need to speak in one voice because of the project’s economic relevance to the local government area and the entire state.

BLGYGG, therefore begs all leaders of the local government area to put the interest of the LGA first before their personal interests, for its development, totally shun factionalism and disunity.
